This is a continuation of my Thankful in November post. This includes the second half of the month, where I say something I’m thankful for daily.
Nov. 16 – I feel like there are a lot of times I’m thankful for doing things involving food, but I’m always thankful for that. I’m getting some of my favorite food tonight (crab rangoon roll sushi) with my friend Brooke after work. She recently moved to Richmond, and I don’t get to see her very often, so I’m thankful that I get to see her.
Nov. 17 – I’ve been super busy lately, and haven’t made it to church in a few weeks. Tonight, my church hosted a Night of Worship. And I loved it. It’s always really nice to spend an evening just praising God. I’m thankful for a church that hosts nights like this, and for the people who provided their time and talents to play the music.
Nov. 18 – I’m thankful I got to spend time with some of my small group girls last night. The ones who went to the Worship Night went to Sonic after, and it was so much fun. I love our Bible Study nights, but I also love casual nights like that. I’m beyond thankful for those girls.
Nov. 19 – I went to Costco with my parents today. I’m thankful that they have a membership, and that they are willing to share that with me. We got some good deals, and I’m always thankful for that!
Nov. 20 – I made it to church today! We have our family Thanksgiving this afternoon, and I’m so excited. I’m thankful my whole family can be together for a meal. I’m thankful that another family member will be joining us next year. I’m thankful that I was able to see my best friend and have a coffee date with her this morning.
Nov. 21 – I went to Harry Potter trivia tonight with some of my friends, and had a blast! I love Harry Potter, I love trivia, and I love hanging out with friends. It was a lovely night, even if we didn’t win! I’m so thankful for these friends and thankful that HP trivia is a thing.
Nov. 22 – I FINALLY get to see “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” tonight! I’m so excited. I know it came out last week, but my friend Sara was in Thailand, so I waited for her to get back. And I cannot wait! New Harry Potter things make me so excited, and I’m thankful that so many have come out lately, and I’m thankful that I have friends as excited as I am about it.
Nov. 23 – I am thankful that I have the next 5 days off of work. It’s going to be much needed, and I cannot wait!
Nov. 24 – I’m heading to Tennessee for Thanksgiving with my family today. I’m thankful that we are going down as a family to spend a weekend together. This is a tradition for us, and it’s always one I look forward to. I’m also thankful that I was able to find a great deal on a laptop this morning, because it was the one thing I really wanted to get this weekend. I found one online and I can’t wait for it to come in!
Nov. 25 – I shopped until 4 a.m. with my sister-in-law. It was fun, and we found some great deals. I also went to Walmart with my mom. I’m super thankful for the mirror we found that was definitely cheaper than the ones we’d seen previously. I’m thankful to be able to shop with my family.
Nov. 26 – KENTUCKY BEAT LOUISVILLE IN FOOTBALL TODAY! I am very thankful for this. Nobody thought it was possible, but it happened!
Nov. 27 – I’m thankful for a day with my dad. My mom and one brother left today, and the other brother and his family went to do some things on their own. Dad and I spent the day in Gatlinburg and at the Christmas store, and it was fun!
Nov. 28 – We made it back home! I’m thankful for getting to spend time with my family this weekend. It was fun, and we got plenty of Christmas shopping in. I’m thankful that there wasn’t much traffic on the way home, and we made it back without getting caught in the rain.
Nov. 29 – I’m thankful that I’m dogsitting this week, which means I get some fur time with a friend’s pup. Huskies are my favorite, and this one’s pretty sweet! He’s energetic, like most huskies, but he does love to cuddle, which I’m thankful for! I’m also very thankful my family came back when we did. The fires taking over Gatlinburg are really scary, and many people are losing their homes and businesses. It’s crazy to think we were just there this weekend. I’m definitely praying for those that are still there.
Nov. 30 – Man, what a start to the day. My car wouldn’t start, I locked myself out of the house where I’m dogsitting, and I left my badge in my car before coming to work. But, I am very thankful for parents that live close, and are always willing to help me when I need it. My dad let me drive his car into work while he and my mom worked out what to do with my car. I’m so thankful for good, loving parents who will help me out no matter what.
November has been a great month, Christmas is almost here, and I’m getting excited! I’m thankful I got to spend some quality time with some friends and family this month, and I’m thankful that it’s almost December!
