Grinch Cookies // Grinchmas

Over the weekend, I went to a cookie making/decorating party at my friend Shelby’s house. It was so much fun and was such a cute idea! I wanted to find a recipe for cute, fun cookies to make at the party, and I stumbled across these Grinch cookies. I wanted to share them with you – they’re really easy to make, with very few ingredients, and are so cute!

Start by preheating the oven to 350°F.

Mix together the ingredients except the powdered sugar and sprinkles.

Use a medium cookie scoop (or your hands) to drop a medium-sized ball of the dough into the powdered sugar and roll into a ball. If the consistency is a little too sticky, you can refrigerate the dough for 10-15 minutes.

Place the dough balls on a cookie sheet. Press one of the heart sprinkles into the center of each ball. I found my sprinkes at Michael’s Craft Store in the baking section.

Bake 8-10 minutes. Be sure to take them out after 10 minutes even if they look like they could bake a little longer. Because they’re a cake dough, they will still bake a little after they come out of the oven.

Let cool for 4-5 minutes. Remove the cookies and place on a cooling rack. Let them cool completely, then serve and enjoy!
