January is officially over, and I really tried to put some effort in last month. I know it’s a little cliche to get motivated and start the year out trying hard, but here we are. I really wanted to have fun with the month and challenge myself, and styling some cute outfits was one of those challenges. I’m just going to share photos here, but if you want outfit details (and links), I’ve tried to keep my LTK updated throughout the month, and as many pieces as possible are linked there (click here to…

If y’all have been here for a while, you know I love a good all black outfit. This outfit is a fun all black outfit that’s perfect for work. I love the scalloped detailing on this top. Scallops are some of my favorite details…

Links that are provided throughout my website may be affiliate links without being expressed. This winter has been weird. Parts of it have been really warm, and parts of it have been really cold. Layers are a great option for these colder months. I love this dress for winter. I love plaid (if you’ve been following me for a while you may remember this buffalo plaid outfit that’s still a favorite…
Kentucky has been in a weird weather phase lately. We call it Fool’s Spring. It’s been pretty warm for winter, but it’s still chilly enough for long sleeves. It’s cold right now, but warmth is coming back soon (I think). I’ve been loving it, and it’s been fun for my wardrobe. I love work outfits that can transition to great post-work outfits, so comfort is key. The main focus of this outfit is the leopard pants. I was nervous to try these on, but once I did…
Fall was in full effect this weekend, and my little heart was so happy. Fall fashion this year is so good, and I’m here to share two of my favorite pieces I’ve been wearing. I’ve also partnered with some of the Lex Blogger Fam to share some other Fall ideas. Tif from Bright on a Budget is sharing a Fall outfit, Leela from Lex Eats is sharing a Fall cookie recipe, and Emily from Gathered Living is sharing a Fall cheeseboard idea. I love a good graphic tee. This hello pumpkin tee is so…
Versatile clothing pieces are my favorites. I love things that I can dress up or down. I’ve discussed this many times on the blog. I want things I can wear over and over. I found a dress that is gorgeous, flattering, and VERY versatile, so I obviously had to share! The first place I wore this dress was to work. I had so many compliments on this dress, and I didn’t mind a bit. The straps are my favorite part. They can be worn on the shoulders, or down for an off the shoulder look (if…
Red and black is one of my favorite combinations. I think it’s so classy. I’ve talked about my love for versatile outfits, as well as affordable outfits, and this outfit falls in both categories. I’ve worn this to work, but I think it would be really nice for an after work event also. This outfit makes me feel so sassy… see below. This black shirt is so cute. It fits really well and I think it’s really flattering. When I purchased it, I didn’t realize it would be this…
I love being comfortable at work. Sometimes, business casual makes that difficult. I tend to lean toward the casual side. One of my favorite pieces to make a “casual” outfit more professional is a blazer. It takes things from cute and casual to business casual. This blazer is an item I picked up last year on the Nordstrom sale. I think a blazer is a great staple piece. They can be dressed up or down, and there are so many fun options out there. I’ll link a few black options at the bottom of this post…
