Galentine’s Day at The Amsden

Galentine’s Day at The Amsden is my favorite Galentine’s Day tradition. I’ve attended every year since they started hosting this event, and it’s always so much fun. This year, a few other local businesses in downtown Versailles also participated in some of the activities, so I’ll include those also. I met up with a couple of my blogger friends to celebrate, and we wandered around downtown exploring some of the local spots. If you want to check out my posts from previous years, the links are at the bottom of…

Wendy’s Breakfast

This post is Sponsored by Wendy’s®. I’m not usually a big breakfast girl, but sometimes I need a little something to get me through themorning. Wendy’s® breakfast is perfect for me to pick up on my way into work. You can orderahead through the Wendy’s app so it’s ready when you get there, it’s easy to eat at my desk, and they use fresh products, such as fresh-cracked Grade A eggs, juicy chicken breast, andapplewood smoked bacon. I tried a few items from their menu (and spoiled my coworkers with a few others…

Red River Gorge

I recently took a trip to Red River Gorge in Slade, Kentucky, and thought I’d share my experience. We stayed at a cute little cabin, ate some delicious food, had some great drinks, and explored a little bit of Kentucky, over the span of a couple of days. I’d only been to Red River Gorge once, to hike for my bestie’s birthday (check out my Hiking in Kentucky post to see details of my hiking adventures from the past few years), and the end result was gorgeous. I was excited to check out more…

The Grove – Lexington, KY

The Grove is a new-ish spot in downtown Lexington, Kentucky. It is an overall umbrella location that hosts several local businesses. The space is absolutely gorgeous, and I’ve been a few times since they opened. I wanted to share a little about this cute little area that I’ve come to really love. Full disclosure – they did invite me to be an ambassador for the business, but this post is not sponsored in any way, and all opinions are my own. Nate’s Hideaway Nate’s Coffee has been around in Lexington for…

Galentine’s Day in Versailles

Happy Galentine’s Day! One of my favorite traditions is attending the annual Galentine’s Day in Versailles. The Amsden always hosts a big event, and it’s so fun. It’s full of activities, including DIY valentines, drink specials, a braid bar, and a permanent jewelry station. This year, a few other local businesses participated, and it was such a fun little girls’ day. If you’re here for the Galentine’s details, keep reading. If you’re here for the makeup + outfit details, scroll to the bottom of this post…

Danville, KY Food Tour

I’ve been to Danville, KY a few times, but it’s mostly been for softball tournaments. I haven’t really had much of a chance to explore the town and try some of the delicious food Danville has to offer (usually we only have a small amount of time to eat, and have a group of picky eaters that only want chicken tenders and burgers). I joined a walking Danville, KY Food Tour through Bites of the Bluegrass, and loved getting to explore the city and some of its tastes. We tried a variety of foods…

Galentine’s Day at The Amsden

Galentine’s Day at The Amsden is one of my favorite annual traditions. One of my favorite local coffee shops, The Amsden, always hosts a Galentine’s Day party. There are specials, special coffees, and vendors. It’s fun and festive, and always fun. It’s a great little girls’ day (ladies of all ages are encouraged to join in the fun). Outfit details are listed at the bottom of this post. Check out The Amdsen’s website here. Some links on Kentucky Girl Ramblings accounts may be affiliate links for which I receive…

Spotted Maxi Skirt + Tie Shoulder Bodysuit

During the summer, I want outfits that are lightweight. Skirts and sleeveless shirts are great options, and I love a good combination of a maxi skirt and bodysuit. This outfit is perfect for summer, whether it’s for work or something more casual. All items linked here are from the same place, which makes for easy shopping too. Pumpkin Spice + Dog Outfit

Happy PSL release day! Yes, I’ve been counting down to today. The PSL released today at Starbucks and of course, I am thrilled. And, of course, I picked one up before work this morning. Dunkin’ releleased theirs last week, but nothing comes close to the original PSL. So, I wanted to share the perfect outfit for picking up a PSL. There are two things I definitely love in life: pumpkin spice lattes… and Remus. Look at that handsome boy. Who couldn’t love that fluff?! This shirt combines my two loves… and it came…

Grey Colorblock Sweater + Floppy Hat

Sweather Weather is in full swing, and I am loving it. I love a good, thick, warm, cozy sweater in the Fall. Fall weather puts me in my element, and it’s when I absolutely thrive. I’ve found the perfect Fall sweater, and it’s the softest, coziest sweater out there. This sweater is so amazing. I posted the same one last week in this post, but in solid black. I LOVE this grey, black and white colorblock option. It’s so pretty, and definitely my colors. The sweater is so cute with leggings, but…
