I recently attended a blogger event at Lexington Bartending School. We tried a few concoctions, and learned about the school. It’s apple season at Eckert’s Orchard, and I headed out over the weekend for some picking. They rotate through a variety of apples throughout the season, and you can pick whatever amount you want. I’ve been to Danville, KY a few times, but it’s mostly been for softball tournaments. I’ve visited Braxton Brewing in Covington a few times, and I’m always happy to return. The rooftop bar has such a great atmosphere, and I love the rooftop views of the area. Their beer is great (the Braxton Labs smoothies are my favorite). When I’m at a brewery, I prefer comfortable clothing, and this brewery outfit is perfect for an afternoon on a rooftop.
