Well y’all, it’s been one year since my first blog post was published. Saturday was my 1 year blogaversary. I wanted to share my blogging experiences.
I saw a quote the other day that said, “One year from now you will wish you would have started on your dream today.” It was perfect timing, as I’d already been thinking about what I wanted to say in this post. It’s been a year, and I’m glad I started chasing this. A year ago I took the plunge and published my first post. I was nervous and scared, and wasn’t really sure what to expect. What if people didn’t like my content? What if people were rude? What if nobody new followed me and nobody ever saw any of my content?
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed using Instagram as a blogging resource. It’s gotten me the most traffic. I love editing fun photos that fit with my Instagram feed and finding new connections using this platform. It’s really been a motivational source. It’s also been a great way to meet new people, and that’s been my favorite part of blogging so far. I’ve found some amazing and talented people and they’ve been so helpful and encouraging.

And, finally, I’ve made so many friends through blogging, and I’m so thankful for that. Check out my post on the blogger brunch I attended earlier this summer to see some of my favorite blogging humans in the area. We’ve had quite a few adventures in the last few months, and my heart is so happy to have found them.
