Project Pan – Quarter 3 additions

I know I recently posted my Project Pan Quarter 2 updates, BUT after a little more use, I think I have a few more products I want to add into my project. I’m very close to finishing up a few products, and think I can knock them out pretty quickly if I throw them into this Project Pan.

Mac Strobe Cream

My Haus Labs foundation has seemed like it’s taking forever to finish. It just isn’t a favorite, and part of the problem is it is too thick and yellow. Adding in a cream product like the Mac Strobe Cream mixed in has been a huge help, and makes the product much easier to use. I’m almost through the foundation AND the strobe cream, so I’m throwing the strobe cream into this project to get it used up and moved out.

Hourglass Finishing Powder

I hit pan on this powder (Hourglass Finishing Powder in the shade Diffused Light) earlier this year, and it was a big surprised to me. I hadn’t really been intentionally working on panning it… but that’s about to change. This powder is part of the Hourglass face palette I got in 2023, and I just started really using it this year. I’ve been using this to set my whole face, and I absolutely love it. It gives my face a healthy glow while still setting my makeup, and just leaves such a gorgeous finish. I think if I continue using it the way I have been, I’ll have it finished pretty quickly.

Tarte Toasted Palette

I’ve been debating adding this palette into my Project Pan all year, and finally decided to fully take the plunge. I’m really focusing on one shade that already has a big dip, but also just the whole palette in general. One shade has some hard pan in it, but I’m going to scrape that out so that shade is easier to use. Fall is upon us, and I’m ready to pull out my warm-toned palettes (I generally prefer cool-toned palettes or colorful palettes) and focus on them for a few months, so this one should be pretty easy to focus on.

Clinique Black Honey

Again, Fall is coming very quickly (YAY), so I’ll be leaning into different makeup preferences than my standard favorites for a bit. Darker lips for Fall and Winter are something I absolutely crave, and Black Honey falls into that. It is a balm texture, which I really like, and I think that makes it pretty easy to use quickly. There’s not much left in the tube, so I think if I add it into this project it’ll be used up soon, but definitely by the end of the year.

Ole Henriksen Peptide Lip Treatment

I struggle to finish lip products, especially chapsticks and lip balms. I purchased the Ole Henrikson lip treatment at the end of last year, but I have really been loving it. It makes my lips feel hydrated (they’ve been desperately chapped lately for some reason). The lid has cracked and chunks are coming off, which makes me not want to throw it in my purse, but I feel like that’s the best place for it. The product is getting low, so I’m going to add it to this project to help encourage me to use it more and go ahead and move onto another lip balm soon (I have a couple more that I think will be great substitutes, and plenty of other lip products).

Urban Decay Hydromaniac

I love glowy foundations, and the Hydromaniac has been one of my favorites for years. Oily girls will hate this one, but I love it. I’m close to finishing the tube, so I’m throwing it in this project to motivate myself to use it up. I’m not quite through the Haus Labs one yet either, but I’m just a few uses away on both, so I think they’ll both be done by the next quarterly update and I can finally move onto other foundations in my collection.

NYX Marshmallow

I found this by accident the other day, and decided to toss it into the mix. It’s a little over halfway done, and I do really like it. I think it helps melt my makeup together, but it also smells amazing and i love that. Marshmallow perfumes are my preference, so this really adds to that sweet smell.
