Apple Picking at Eckert’s Orchard

It’s apple season at Eckert’s Orchard, and I headed out over the weekend for some picking. They rotate through a variety of apples throughout the season, and you can pick whatever amount you want.

I picked a full bag. I love snacking on apples, but they’re also great in pies. I love baking them in the air fryer for a sweet, yummy side dish that’s so easy. I’m always on the hunt for new recipes to try, so if you have any good ones to share, please let me know in the comments!

Green apples are always my favorite. I like them a little tart, with just a small bite to them. Sweet apples are great too, but I personally love something just a little sour.

The weather was absolutely beautiful this weekend. You could definitely tell Fall is coming soon, which makes me so happy. I’ll be heading back to Eckert’s for Fall activities, and can’t wait to share those too! Apple season won’t last long in Versailles, so hurry out there if you want to pick for yourself!

I love picking up a box of cider when I’m at Eckert’s. They have seasonal flavors, but the original apple is my favorite. Cider slushies are available too, and I ALWAYS grab one of those while I’m there!
