12 Days of Lipmas

Happy December! The holiday season is upon us, and one of my favorite beauty items for the holidays is a red lip. I love that there are so many options at this point, and I thought I’d do a series where I share some of my favorites, so I wanted to do a “12 Days of Lipmas” series. Here are 12 red lips in different shades, formulas, brands, and price points! There’s a little something in there for everyone, just in time for holiday parties and festivities. If you want details, this post is…

Project Pan 2025 Quarter 3 Results

We’re in the third quarter of my 2025 Project Pan, and this has been the most successful quarter yet. I finished seven – yes, 7!, products this quarter, and I’ve hit pan on a few others. Milani Eyeshadow Primer I’m so close to finishing this primer. I’ve used it every time I’ve worn eyeshadow this year, and somehow it’s still not totally empty, but it’s close. I think there are probably less than 10 uses left in it, which is great. It’ll be finished…

Project Pan – Quarter 3 additions

I know I recently posted my Project Pan Quarter 2 updates, BUT after a little more use, I think I have a few more products I want to add into my project. I’m very close to finishing up a few products, and think I can knock them out pretty quickly if I throw them into this Project Pan. Mac Strobe Cream My Haus Labs foundation has seemed like it’s taking forever to finish. It just isn’t a favorite, and part of the problem is it is too thick and yellow. Adding in a cream…

Project Pan 2025 Update – Quarter 2 Results

The year is halfway over, which means we’re halfway through my 2025 Project Pan. I have some exciting updates, and some not-so-exciting updates. The visible progress of some of my makeup products is so thrilling to see, and I think this is going to be a pretty successful project. Milani Eyeshadow Primer Quarter 2 results for my eyeshadow primer are the same as quarter 1. I’m still trucking along on getting this used up, but I use a little at a time, so it does take a while to get through. I also don…

Fabled Brew Works

I recently attended a craft beer festival in Louisville, and my favorite was a peanut butter & jelly sour from a brewery I’d never tried before (or heard of), Fabled Brew Works. It was delicious and unique. I’d planned a trip to Cincinnati with some girlfriends for the next weekend, but needed to pick something up from my bestie at her work on the way. Out of curiosity, knowing the brewery was also located in Northern Kentucky, I googled the distance from her work to the brewery… and it is directly beside it. So I…

Happy Hour Specials in Lexington, KY

Lexington has some fantastic restaurants, bars, and breweries. Many have Happy Hour specials, and I’m on a mission (along with a couple of other local blogger babes) to try them all. I thought I’d share all the specials I can find, and document my journey through trying as many as I can! Let me know if you know I’ve missed and I’d love to add them in! Agave & Rye The special: $6 OG margaritas, $2 domestic cans, $2 off tacos, $3 chips and queso // Monday, Wednesday-Friday, 3-6 p.m…

Rail Explorers – Versailles, KY

I’m always looking for unique experiences in the Bluegrass, and with warmer weather coming, Rail Explorers is a great option! The starting point is just outside of Lexington, KY in Versailles, and you pedal your way through a few miles of beautiful countryside. I’ve been wanting to check this out for a while, and I finally went with my nieces and friend Megan. We went in the evening, and it was a great little ride. This is such a unique experience that would be fun for families, a little girls’ night, or even a date…

Project Pan 2025 – Quarter 1 Results

We’re a quarter through 2025, and I’ve definitely made some good progress on my Project Pan and the results so far this year…
