Edgy All Black Summer to Fall Outfit

Fall is so close I can smell it (seriously, pumpkin spice has started releasing and my heart is so happy). This week on Instagram, I’m partnering up with a few local blogger babes to share different outfits. We each have a different style, which is really fun! My friend Celeste (check out her blog here and Instagram here) asked me to participate, and let me know she thought I had an “edgy” style. Y’all, I’ve never heard my style defined as edgy before, but I’m here for it! All black outfits are my favorite aesthetic, so I thought I’d share an “edgy” all black outfit that’s perfect for transitioning from Summer to Fall.

I’ve talked about versatile pieces here on the blog over and over, because I love pieces that can be worn multiple ways. This top is one of those pieces, and I think it’s beautiful. It’s sexy and chic, but can still be a very classy top. I’ve worn it to work and girls’ nights, but it would also be perfect for date nights. I love the lace detailing on the sleeves (detailing always suckers me in).

For this look, I paired it with my favorite black skinny jeans, a black glitter cami bodysuit, and a pair of strappy black heels. Switching out the heels for flats makes it a little more comfortable for work, and leaving out the cami would make it a little more sexy for date night.

One of my favorite clothing items for Fall is a fun hat. I snagged this one in stories, and I’m on the hunt for it in the tan version. Accessories are always some of my favorite parts of an outfit, and throwing a hat into the mix is always fun.

As I said earlier, these heels are interchangeable with flats (check out my favorites here and some affordable but VERY cute options here) or booties (check out my favorites here and here). Just thought I’d say that these heels are actually really comfortable. I don’t wear heels often, but I’ve worn these pretty often recently, and they’re easy to wear, even to work. They’d be great for date night too.

Y’all have seen me post about my Lauren Mackenzie Decal cups over and over here on the blog. Her Fall line just released, and I cannot wait to snag some of her newer designs. I picked this cup up a while ago, and I love it. It’s going to be a staple for me for Fall – black with little heart cutouts? Yes please! These cups are customizable, and they’re so gorgeous! Check out more posts featuring these cups here and here.

Celeste wanted edgy, so I decided to make sure the makeup matched the edginess. I picked up the Natasha Denona Love palette during the Sephora sale. It’s my first ND palette and y’all, I get the hype. The whole palette is gorgeous. I went with a maroon look. I love reds and pinks, and think this look is very smokey and pretty. I don’t think a lot of people (non makeup artists or influencers) dare to wear reds and bright pinks, so it qualifies as edgy. It turned out really pretty, in my opinion.
