Poolside Peach Prosecco Punch

Okay, so this punch isn’t really made with Prosecco. It’s made with Moscato. You can use Prosecco if that’s your preference! It just has a better ring to it. I bought some peaches on sale, and was trying to think of ways to use them. I love the idea of making them into a yummy summer drink that’s perfect for a poolside delight. I also prefer Moscato because it keeps the drink sweet (which I love).

I made this drink for Memorial Day, and again when I went to the pool with my friend Kelsey from KabKitchen. It’s so easy, light, and tasty, and it’s a great way to use fresh peaches (especially if you need an easy way to use up peaches that are getting a little too ripe).
This recipe is so easy. All you need is a few peaches (I use anywhere from 5-10, depending how thick you want your drink), a 750 ml bottle of wine, a blender, and ice, if desired.
You can use fresh or frozen peaches. I used fresh peaches the first time I made it, and frozen peaches the second time (I cut up the peaches left over from the first batch and froze them for about a month). If you use frozen peaches, you probably don’t need to add much ice. Fresh peaches need something to thicken the consistency a little, and ice will help the drink stay at colder temperatures.
If using fresh peaches, slice them. The slice sizes don’t really matter, as they’ll be blended. If you’re using frozen peaches, they will already be sliced. Add them to the blender.
Next, add the bottle of wine to the blender. You can use more or less, depending on how much alcohol content you’d like to have in your drink.
Blend the mixture until completely blended. Add ice if you want a thicker consistency, and blend until the mixture is thoroughly blended.
Pour your drink and enjoy!   If some sweetness is desired, sugar will work, but I recommend adding a little bit of honey to add natural sweetener. You can add it before or after you have blended your drink (just mix it into your drink once it’s poured).
Kelsey wanted to add a little more consistency to the drink, so we added some frozen berries into the drink also, and it was pretty yummy! I prefer it without the berries, but it’s definitely a possible addition!
