Seasoned Oyster Crackers

It’s holiday season, and that means plenty of holiday parties. I’ve teamed up with other local bloggers to share holiday decor, recipes, style tips, and more. Be sure to check out the bottom of this post for links to the sites of the other participating parties!
Today I’m sharing an easy recipe perfect for holiday parties. Some parties have food provided, but some ask that party attendees bring a dish. Seasoned oyster crackers are some of my favorite snacks, and they’re always a big hit at gatherings. They’re also great when you need something last minute that’s quick and easy.

The recipe calls for only four ingredients:
1 bag of oyster crackers
1 package of ranch dressing mix
1/2 Tbsp garlic powder
1/4 cup canola oil

Preheat the oven to 250. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

Mix all the ingredients except the crackers in a large mixing bowl.

Add the crackers and stir. Make sure the crackers are completely coated.

Pour the coated crackers in a single layer onto the baking sheet. Try to spread them out evenly.

Bake approximately 15 minutes.

Enjoy!

Side note – how cute is this little $3 tin from Walmart? It’s perfect for taking these crackers to parties!

I took these to a family gathering this weekend and they were a success! Even my nieces and nephew liked them (and they’re as picky as their aunt)!

We had chili for lunch, and the crackers went really well with it too! They added a little bit of seasoning that made the chili even better. The kiddos also snacked on them all afternoon and seemed to really enjoy them! I highly recommend these crackers for events!

Be sure to let me know if you use this recipe! It’s one of my favorites. Just be careful; they’re very addicting!

Such a good idea for a quick snack for large groups. I’ll keep it in mind if I do a New Year’s party!
