Sephora Sale Recommendations – Spring 2024

The Sephora sale runs April 5-April 15 (Rouge starts the 5th; VIP and Insider starts the 9th). The percentage depends on insider status – Rouge gets 20%, VIP gets 15%, and Insider gets 10%. I already have my cart ready, but I have some recommendations of my own to share. These are products I absolutely love and use frequently in my makeup/beauty routines.

Kayali Yum Pistachio Gelato perfume

I purchased this perfume during the last round of the Sephora sale in the Fall. I’ve since gone through a full and travel size of it. It’s a gourmand scent, and I get compliments every single time I wear it. It honestly took a few wears for me to like it, but once it grew on me, I started to love it. I have a few more scents to work on, so I’m not currently replacing this one in my collection, but I can see myself repurchasing it in the future.

Tower 28 concealer + blush

The Swipe All-Over Hydrating Serum Concealer is a recent purchase for me, but I love it. It quickly became my favorite concealer. It’s one of the only ones I’ve ever tried that doesn’t immediately set into the lines under my eyes, and comes in a fair enough shade (I use shade 1.0 BH) to actually brighten my undereyes, which is hard for a pale girl. The BeachPlease Lip + Cheek Cream Blush in shade Magic Hour is a gorgeous blush. I love the way it applies – effortlessly, blending in so easily, and the shade is perfect for my fair skin.

Urban Decay Hydromaniac Glow Tint

My favorite foundation of all time is this one from Urban Decay. I’ve repurchase it a few times, because it looks so good. It looks great on dry skin (people with oily skin may hate this one), giving it a glow that I haven’t found with many other foundations.

Rare Beauty powder and highlighter

Powders aren’t something I use every time I do my makeup, but when I do, I frequently reach for the Always an Optimist Soft Radiance Setting Powder From Rare Beauty. It doesn’t completely mattify my face like some powders, and I love that. There’s still a subtle glow even when I first apply it, which is exactly what I want in a powder. Shade Light is perfect for my fair skin. The Positive Light Silky Touch Highlighter is my favorite highlighter, ever. I purchased it when it released, and hit pan pretty quickly. The glow from it is beautiful and gives a beaming look. Shade Enlighten is perfect for me when I’m fair, and I’m considering picking up a deeper shade for when I self tan. There’s a dome shape for this highlighter, and there’s a huge dip in it in addition to the pan I’ve already hit.

Rare Beauty and Huda Beauty powders

While I love the Rare Beauty powder, the Huda Beauty Easy Bake Loose Baking & Setting Powder is also a really nice one. I know everyone raves about the shade Cherry Blossom for setting the undereyes, but I personally haven’t tried it yet (I wish it came in the mini size). Poundcake is the shade I use to set my whole face, and it looks so nice on the skin.

Fenty Beauty Match Stix Matte Contour Skinstick

Fenty has one of the best shade ranges in makeup, and their Match Stix is the only contour product I use. Fair girls have a hard time finding cool, fair contour shades, but the shade Amber is perfection. It blends easily and lasts all day.

Hourglass bronzer, blush, and powder

Hourglass products are a little pricey, but they’re so good and worth it. The sale is a great time to stock up on pricier products in my opinion. Any money saved is great. I invested in the full Ambient Lighting palette in the Fall, but sadly, it’s unavailable now. They do still have products available individually, and I highly suggest checking them out for anyone who hasn’t already. The blush in the shade Mood Exposure is one of my favorites of all time (I fully panned it a couple of years ago), and their bronzer is also one of my favorites. They all just give a very natural finish that looks great on the skin.

Glow Recipe Plump + Hydrate Duo

This set includes the Plum Plum Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizer and the Plum Plum Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum. As shown below, I’ve gone through this set (twice, actually). This set is already a repurchase for me, and I’m ready for another restock during this round of the sale. Some people don’t like it because there’s a fragrance, but it hasn’t given me any problems. They give me a gorgeous glow, even on days when I’m not wearing makeup, so I absolutely love this set. I’m a sucker for packaging, and Glow Recipe killed it with that on this, but I also love that this set is small enough to easily throw in my travel bag too.
