Shared Planet Polar Bear Palette (Review, Swatches, + 3 Looks)

Happy International Polar Bear Day! Polar bears are my favorite animals, so when I found a polar bear themed eyeshadow palette… well, I snatched that up. I’ve wanted to post about this palette for a while, and I figured today was the perfect day.

I LOVE this palette. It quickly became a favorite. I’ve always preferred cool tones, and this palette definitely contains cool tones. Pinks, greys, purples, my heart! The color scheme for this palette is right up my alley.

I love that the shade names actually fit this palette really well. There are shades like Aurora, Polar, Glacier, and Cub. Those are very fitting. Some shade names in palettes make zero sense, and I love that these go with the theme.

I really love this company. They don’t have many products, but they’re helping animals with the products they do have. 10% of each purchase benefits Polar Bears International. This is an organization I’ve been supporting for years, and I think this is such a great cause. I LOVE that this company is supporting a great organization. You can find out more about how this palette here.

The shimmer shades are definitely better when applied with a wet brush (with setting spray or eye drops). Without it they’re pretty sheer, but when the brush is wet they become very intense and pigmented. The matte shades are smooth, but definitely give yourself some time to blend them.

The shades in this palette are gorgeous. I’ve swatched all 12 shades below. It’s hard to see how gorgeous the lighter shades are in a photo, but when they’re on the eyes they’re gorgeous.

Here are some looks I’ve done with this palette:

That deep blue is perfect for UK game days!

I used this palette for my family Christmas makeup. The silver shimmer is so pretty.

My niece got me a polar bear purse for Christmas. So cute!

Are you a cool tone or warm tone eyeshadow person? Don’t get me wrong, I occasionally enjoy rocking a warm toned look (especially in the Fall), but cool tones are definitely my preference.
