Is it clear by now that I love Halloween? If not, let this post sum that up. The Headless Horseman has always been fascinating to me. I went to Sleepy Hollow in 2012 and it’s one of my favorite places I’ve ever visited (you’ll find me there next year the week of Halloween). I love everything to do with Sleepy Hollow. So, of course, I found the perfect outfit that fits the Headless Horseman theme.
This shirt has been around a while, and I love it. Character names in this form have been trending, and I think it’s really cute. This one has some of the key characters from The Legend of Sleepy Hollow – Ichabod (Crane), Brom (Bones), Katrina (Van Tassel), Hans (Van Ripper), Baltus (Van Tassel), & The (Headless) Horseman. I think it’s so fun!
I was expecting the writing to be orange, but I think it’s more red than orange, which was a little disappointing. That doesn’t mean I don’t love it though!
I wore this on Friday the 13th, which is always a fun day for me. My friend Rachel told me I was very on theme, which I very much appreciated! The outfit definitely helped!
I paired the SLeepy Hollow tee with a pair of my Lula Roe leggings… which are also covered with the Headless Horseman. I got these last year, and you’d better believe I’m pulling them out again this year for Fall. I’m not sure if you can still find these, but check with a consultant if you know one (or check out these Ebay listings).
Now… for the beer.
New Holland Ichabod is hands down my favorite pumpkin beer. It’s a pumpkin ale, and it’s amazing. I try to find it early every season, because it’s a popular one and it does sell out pretty quickly.
If you can get your hands on it, I highly recommend trying it out! If you’re in the Lexington area, Total Wine carries it in individual cans, so you can try it without committing. I can’t guarantee it will be in stock, but you can call and ask before driving there! You can also check this listing to see if it’s in stock!
I paired this outfit with a simple Fall makeup look. I used the Tartelette Toasted palette on my eyes, and Give Me Glow Cosmetics liquid lipstick in Fireside Flirting on my lips!
