Slytherin Inspired Olive Outfit

I’ve loved Harry Potter since I was younger. I started reading the books in third grade, right after the first book was released. I’m lucky to have found friends who also love Harry Potter. Every once in a while, we have HP movie nights, and they’re always a favorite of mine. Recently, I went to a movie night at my friend Amanda’s, so I wanted a Slytherin look. Olive is a very popular color right now, and it’s easy to put a Slytherin inspired outfit together.

This olive bodysuit is so cute, with its faux buttons and pretty color. It is a little low cut for those with larger chests, so be aware of that. It’s a nice fit, and very comfortable. Plus, it’s affordable, which is always a bonus.

These pants are amazing. Wide leg, linen pants have been popular over the past couple of years, and it’s a trend I’m loving. They’re casual and comfortable, but they look nice and put together. When paired with this bodysuit, they look really classy and a little more dressy. They aren’t completely see through, but they aren’t very thick either, so I’d recommend wearing something nude colored underneath them. I love the lightweight fabric; it makes them perfect for warmer days.

As usual, I love finding good accessories. As a Slytherin, yes, I love the Dark Mark, so this necklace is perfect. Green sunglasses elevate the look also, and this pair is affordable (as with the bodysuit, always a bonus). My black snake earrings complete the look. These are so fun; I really love earrings that look like they go straight through the ear and come out on both sides. I’ve mentioned these sandals in previous posts (check out this one that also includes another pair of flowy pants for the summer), because they’re so nice for dressier looks.

The Harry Potter palettes from Ulta are sadly no longer available. I reviewed them on here when they first released (see that post here). They’re still great quality palettes, and I used the Slytherin palette to create this olive eye look for this outfit.
