The Grove is a new-ish spot in downtown Lexington, Kentucky. It is an overall umbrella location that hosts several local businesses. The space is absolutely gorgeous, and I’ve been a few times since they opened. I wanted to share a little about this cute little area that I’ve come to really love.
Full disclosure – they did invite me to be an ambassador for the business, but this post is not sponsored in any way, and all opinions are my own.
Harvey’s has a really nice list of cocktails, and a gorgeous space to enjoy them in. Their cocktails never disappoint, and I love that they use unique ingredients to come up with concoctions I’ve never tried (or heard of). I first tried them on the Bites of the Bluegrass tour (Check out my post about the tour to see how amazing they are – I highly recommend checking them out if you’re looking for a unique experience in the Bluegrass area), and I’ve been a big fan ever since. They also have a happy hour Wednesday-Friday from 3-6, so definitely check them out soon! I love that the space gives off very bougie vibes, but their prices are reasonable. They want people to come in and try new things, and I really love that.
Man oh man, as a millennial, I love me some charcuterie. It’s essentially an adult Lunchable, which was a classic for my lunches growing up. Fable puts together some fantastic charcuterie plates. I had a board at a champagne tasting at The Grove, and picked one up for a trip to The Gorge. They’re perfect for picnics or on-the-go, and they’re delicious. I highly recommend placing an order if you want one for any occasion.
Coffee is my love language, and The Greenery has some great coffee. My current obsession is the Lucky Charms Latte I tried on St. Patrick’s Day, and have been drooling over ever since. The space is full of plants, and gives such a cozy vibe. I love heading out there on weekend mornings to get some blogging done and to just hang out with friends.
I’ve been to a couple of events at The Grove, and they’ve been so fun. I attended their 2022 Halloween party, and it was a blast. They had a couple of signature cocktails from Harvey’s (even one on fire!), charcuterie from Fable, and the beer garden was open for enjoyment. It’s such a beautiful space, and it was the perfect spot for a little Halloween fun.
I’ve attended a few tastings classes at The Grove as well, and they’ve always been lovely. also attended a champagne tasting event, and it was lovely. You receive a few varieties of whatever class you’re attending (The tastings I’ve attended include a champagne tasting, a Wise Bird Cider tasting, and a Riesling tasting), presented by an expert, with the option of adding a charcuterie plate from Fable (I highly recommend doing that).
The Beer Garden is open as long as any business inside The Grove is open. It’s a beautiful little outdoor space, perfect for enjoying a coffee, a drink from Harvey’s, enjoying some outdoor time with a delicious drink, or getting some work done. I love hanging out on the cabana (also available for rentals), especially during a rainstorm!
If you have the chance to attend an event or a class at The Grove, definitely do! And if there aren’t any events happening, head out to enjoy any of the local businesses at The Grove! It’s beautiful and all the owners there are lovely humans and I really love supporting all of them.
My nieces treated me to a special brunch at The Kentucky Castle as a Christmas…
