Valentine’s Day Palettes

Valentine’s Day and Galentine’s Day are right around the corner. I love a good Valentine’s Day makeup palette and eye look, so I wanted to share some palettes that I think are perfect Valentine’s Day palettes. I love pinks, berries, reds, and I think these palettes really fit that theme. If you want to see some looks I create with these palettes, as well as some fun makeup tutorials, please follow my Instagram and Tik Tok!

The Palettes

Natasha Denona

We’ll start with two palettes from Natasha Denona: The Mini Love palette and the Mini Crush palette. The Mini Crush palette was released last year specifically for Valentine’s Day, and I think it’s my favorite of the two. I like that these palettes are similar, but also different. They really compliment each other well, and I love pairing them together, as well as wearing them separately. Let me know if you want to see swatches of the two, to show their differences (and similarities of course).

Colourpop

If you’re unfamiliar with Colourpop, you’re really missing out, in my opinion. They have such a large variety of palettes, and I think they have a color story for pretty much anyone and anything. Their quality is amazing, and the price is generally pretty affordable. There are 6 palettes I really love from them that I think are great for Valentine’s Day: Ooh La La, Secret Admirer, Cloud Spun, 143 (unfortunately unavailable at this time, but is available on secondhand sites like Mercari and Poshmark), Peace Love Libra, and Melt 4 U (also unfortunately unavailable at this time, but is available on secondhand sites like Mercari and Poshmark – The Too Haute palette, though, is very similar). They’re all full of gorgeous pink and berry shades that are so pretty for the holiday of love.

They also just released a Valentine’s Day collection, including a new palette, Flirty Talk. The shades are gorgeous, and would definitely be an excellent Valentine’s Day palette. I don’t currently own it, so I’m not showing it here, but you can click this link and check it out – it has both reds and pinks and I think it looks stunning.

Glamlite

Glamlite has some gorgeous palettes, and so far I’ve loved everything I’ve tried from them. They released their Icee palettes, and I think the Cherry Icee palette is excellent for Valentine’s Day. They have some gorgeous reds and pinks to choose from, and I really love their formula. They’re one of the only brands I’ve found that have a true red range of shadows, and I love this palette.

Huda Beauty

Huda Beauty has a great range of palettes. I love that there are palettes for every skin tone. This palette is the Rose Quartz palette, and I think it’s beautiful. The shades look like they lean a little neutral in the pans, but most of them do lean a little pink (at least on my pale skin). I am fair, and this palette really works for me, and it’s a very romantic palette.

Give Me Glow Cosmetics

Give Me Glow Cosmetics is a brand I discovered on Instagram a couple of years ago, and I love their shadows. The Vivid Rose palette is one I picked up last year, and the shades are stunning. This palette screamed at me when they released it, and I’m so inspired by these shades. Purples aren’t normally shades I reach for specifically for Valentine’s Day looks, but the shades in this palette are gorgeous, and I think they work really well with the pinks in the palette.

BH Cosmetics

BH Cosmetics is a little up in the air right now, with Makeup Revolution taking them over last year. The Mimosa palette is worth picking up if you can get your hands on it. I’ve even taken this on vacation (it was a gorgeous palette for creating beachy looks). There are pink shades, but it also leans a little coral, which is unique for this post, and it’s absolutely gorgeous. The quality of BH palettes are so nice, and I really hope their formula doesn’t change with the takeover. Unfortunately, this one isn’t available on major sites like Ulta, but there are plenty available on secondhand sites like Mercari, Poshmark, and Ebay.

Beauty Bay

Beauty Bay is a brand I hadn’t heard much about, until I followed Maya on Tik Tok. She is amazing, and I’m so glad she introduced me to this brand. The Berries 16 pan palette is currently the only one I own from them, but they have a large variety of palettes that are gorgeous. I really love the variety of pinks in this palette. A couple of the shades look similar, but they’re somehow all different, and I’m very impressed. The quality of this palette is incredible, and I would highly recommend this one. If this size isn’t quite right for you, they also have a 9 pan palette and a 42 pan palette in the same color scheme.

Sigma

Last but not least, Sigma released their New Mod palette last year, and it’s so pretty. I love the mix of neutrals and pink/mauve shades. I also traveled with this palette last year. The shadows are VERY pigmented, so be warned when using it. A little goes a long way, which I learned the hard way (and on a day I really needed to use a lighter hand). The shadows in this palette are probably some of the softest in this post, and they’re very romantic looking in my opinion.

Like I said at the beginning of this post, if you want to see some Valentine’s makeup looks I come up with using these palettes, definitely follow me on my Instagram and Tik Tok. I’ve been loving sharing my looks on both sites lately, and it really inspires me to be creative (also, please leave a comment if you have any requests for looks or swatches using these palettes!).
