Old Navy swing dresses have always been some of my favorites. I have them in long and short sleeves, in different colors. They’re perfect for work, but can also be pretty casual. BUT. I’ve found a dress that’s EVEN BETTER! As much as I love Old Navy swing dresses… I’m excited to share that Walmart now carries swing dresses. WITH POCKETS. That’s right ladies, these swing dresses have pockets. Isn’t that the dream, dresses with pockets? These dresses are also cheaper than Old Navy dresses! They’…
Single shadows are some of my favorite eyeshadows. I love having the ability to customize a palette, and build a collection customized to my own style. It’s a great way to try out a brand without spending a ton of money, or add just one color to your collection that you’ve been wanting to try. I’ll list some of my favorite companies that carry single shadows at the bottom of this post, as well as some companies I want to try. I’ve tried a few single shadows from some companies, and bundles…
When anyone asks for workout clothes recommendations, I ALWAYS suggest checking out Walmart. I LOVE their workout clothes. They’re comfortable, they’re cute but simple, and best of all, they’re AFFORDABLE. This post is not sponsored; I purchased all of these items. I just really love affordable workout clothes. And YES, I did work out after taking these pics. Remus and I went on a 2.5 mile walk right after this. The leggings I found were on clearance for $7! Such a great deal. I love how cute these are. They really look like…
Hi, my name is Courtney, and I love buffalo plaid. Buffalo plaid is a huge trend right now, and I’m loving it. I have buffalo plaid pajamas, buffalo plaid pajamas for Remus, a buffalo plaid coffee mug… And THEN I found this shirt. I love this shirt. It’s black, a staple for me, but I love the buffalo plaid accents. It has a plaid pocket in the front, which is really cute, and a plaid hood lining. I just think it’s so fun! It’s so comfy, and I love the length…
I’ve loved the off-the-shoulder trend for a while now. I’ve done a couple of off-the-shoulder posts like this gorgeous black dress. I found a stunning off-the-shoulder sweater on Amazon and I am in love. An easy way to add a fun pop is with some fun jewelry. These earrings were only $4 at Walmart! They aren’t available online, but definitely check out their selection in stores! I really love the detailing on the sleeves. It’s so pretty, and adds something fun to a basic sweater. Y…
I love casual outfits with a fun accessory that brings it to life. Outfits that can be styled difference ways are my favorite. I like pieces that can be dressed up or down, like this adorable cardigan. I throw this on for work pretty frequently, but it’s also great for just lounging around the house or brunch with friends. I wore this specific outfit to dinner with my friend Brooke. I wanted to be cute but comfortable. I paired my cardigan with a black and white striped tee that I snagged at the Nordstrom sale. It’s…
I was scrolling through my suggested videos on YouTube, and one really stuck out to me. A Harry Potter Project Pan. I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan, and I really love project pans (check out my current 2019 Project Pan). I thought this was such a fun idea, and I definitely wanted to join! The original video I saw was by Christina Chang. She provided some prompts/guidelines, so I’ll be discussing my items based on those! If you’re a Harry Potter fan too, you know 7 is a very important number throughout the series…
My niece had a basketball game last month at my old middle school. I know a lot of people say middle school was terrible for them, but I honestly LOVED middle school. In my 7th grade year, however, one thing was implemented that I was NOT a fan of: a dreaded dress code. We had to wear solid colored polos (they had to have buttons, no snaps) , solid sweatshirts, and khakis or navy pants. We had to have closed-toe shoes. As a middle schooler, it was torture. As an adult, this style is no longer torture for me. I…
This post is coming pretty late. I know, I know, it’s almost March. But better late than never, right? If you don’t know what project panning is, check out my 2018 Project Pan. It was my first year of panning, and I loved it. I took these pictures in January, and I’ve been working on panning these products the entire year, but I’m just now sharing them (fun fact: I’ve already finished or hit pan on some products!). I’m including two eyeliners in my project this year. The…
