Galentine’s Day at The Amsden is my favorite Galentine’s Day tradition. I’ve attended every year since they started hosting this event, and it’s always so much fun. It’s apple season at Eckert’s Orchard, and I headed out over the weekend for some picking. They rotate through a variety of apples throughout the season, and you can pick whatever amount you want. I recently took a trip to Red River Gorge in Slade, Kentucky, and thought I’d share my experience. I’ve been to Danville, KY a few times, but it’s mostly been for softball tournaments.
