Christmas is coming up, and a lot of Dog Moms like myself love getting gifts that include our pet. I’ve rounded up some amazing Dog Mom gifts (mostly from local shops) that I think any Dog Mom would love!
It’s no secret that I think Remus is the cutest pup ever, so a custom portrait of him is so nice. Charissa created this adorable painting of Remus, and I love displaying it in my living room. A custom portrait would be a great gift for Dog Moms, and I love that this one is from a local artist.
I try to add at least one ornament to my tree each year. Since I brought Remus home, I try to make sure one ornament is for him. This year, I want to add one of Connor’s custom ornaments (again, a local shop). How cute are these?! I have an ornament from her that I keep on my vanity, and I plan on picking up one of these custom ornaments. Sign up for her emails to receive sale alerts (hint hint: there’s a sale coming up this weekend! Ornaments are excluded, but she also has a ton of other options that would be great gifts! This weekend will be the last chance to snag ornaments at the normal shipping rate. After this rush shipping will be charged)!
I’ve talked about my custom cups in quite a few posts (including my most recent). They’re favorites around my house. Of course I have a cup dedicated to being a Dog Mom, and these cups are great gifts for other Dog Moms. A cup with a Dog Mom’s pup’s name would be perfect, but a simple “Dog Mom” cup would also be great! The cups come in all sorts of patterns, from hearts to holidays to a Louis Vuitton-inspired pattern. Lauren is also another small shop, which I love supporting.
This set is on my Christmas wish list this year. I love the idea of matching my pup with this bracelet and collar charm set. Remus always has a little piece of me with him, and this way we can keep each other close! Sets like this are perfect for Dog Moms.
Remus and I have a few sets of matching pajamas. We have Halloween pajamas, and Winter pajamas. I try to get pajamas that are great all winter, not just for Christmas (I like the practicality – this set for me, and this shirt for Remus are the perfect example). However, I did find a Grinch pajamas for both of us (Grinch pajama pants and a Grinch tee for me, and a cute little shirt for Remus). These are great gifts for Dog Moms that would like to match their cute pups. Check out Kohl’s pajama sets here, and Target pajama sets here for some of my favorite options.

This necklace is also on my wish list. It’s simple and delicate, which makes it the perfect Dog Mom gift. It’s not flashy, but still shows how much a girl loves her pup. The pup’s initial is a cute little addition that I adore.
Along with the matching jammies theme, matching sets are always a hit. Buddy Bandanas have matching sets for owners and pups. They’ve branched out since they first started; the sets aren’t just scrunchies and bandanas anymore. Now they have bandanas, hats, masks, scrunchies, and headbands – all in matching patterns. These are perfect gifts for Dog Moms who enjoy taking their pups out in style. Each purchase benefits shelter dogs, which is a huge bonus.
Some owners like to get themselves a little something (I’m guilty of this). My friend Hannah opened up a home bakery in Washington, D.C. She releases 100 scones per week (all for humans), with rotating flavors. Half of the proceeds benefit shelter dogs, which I really love. I’m so proud of her and wanted to mention Sit Stay for those Dog Moms who want to treat not only their pups and their friends, but themselves as well – and they ship! FYI, there’s a scone named after Remus… and of course it’s pumpkin spice flavored! That one is releasing again this week, and I can’t wait. Scones release every Wednesday at 11, so keep an eye on their website and their Instagram for details on this week’s scones!
Do you have any other suggestions for Dog Mom gifts? If so, leave me a note or link in the comments!
