Galentine’s Day at The Amsden

Galentine’s Day at The Amsden is one of my favorite annual traditions. One of my favorite local coffee shops, The Amsden, always hosts a Galentine’s Day party. There are specials, special coffees, and vendors. It’s fun and festive, and always fun. It’s a great little girls’ day (ladies of all ages are encouraged to join in the fun).

Outfit details are listed at the bottom of this post. Check out The Amdsen’s website here.

I met Emily, the owner, in 2016 when I first started blogging. I’ve loved seeing The Amsden grow from the opening, and I love everything they’ve done over the last few years. Emily is so talented and creative, so events like Galentine’s Day are a joy to experience.

Each Galentine’s Day, there’s a special coffee drink. It’s always delicious, and always pretty.

The decorations are always amazing. This year, the balloons out front were pink and white, and perfect for photos. If you’re looking for a fun backdrop, The Amsden is always perfect.

I had a head massage by Kaylan that was lovely. She runs Skin Boutique by Kaylan, a studio above The Amsden. She was giving facials for the event, but said she didn’t want to ruin my makeup, so she offered a head massage. Y’all, this alone would bring me back. The boutique also has a little shop set up inside, New Star South, featuring some really cute items you can purchase (I bought a new Dog Mom bracelet, but the earrings are all so gorgeous).

There’s usually a fun braid bar, and a Valentine making station. I love that the event is very kid-friendly (The Amsden is also pup friendly, FYI!). And of course you can shop the Mercantile at The Amsden while you’re waiting for coffee or for the services.

If you’re looking for a fun Galentine’s Day event for you and your friends every year, check out The Amsden! Follow them on Instagram for updates. If you want to see photos from former years, check out this post and this post. I can’t wait for next year!
