Halloween is ALMOST here, and I’m so excited. It’s my favorite day of the year (if you’ve been here a while you already know that. If you’re new here, hi and welcome!). 2020 is making Halloween less… thrilling this year, but I’m still excited for it (even if it’s just me hanging out with Remus in our Halloween pajamas at home). There are still fun ways to celebrate, including dressing for Halloween. This Halloween dress and OTK boot combo is perfect for making it feel like Halloween is exciting this year.
I love a good sweater dress. This one adds a bit of Halloween fun to it, with a really cute jack-o-lantern on it. It’s perfect for the Fall temperatures, and it’s the perfect length to pair with my over the knee boots.
These OTK boots are the same ones I had last year. I’m so glad they came back this year. I’ve already mentioned them on the blog this year (check out this post to see how I styled them with a cute top and leggings), and I’ll be wearing them plenty more through the Fall and Winter seasons. They’re extra wide calf, which is the perfect fit for me, and they’re so comfortable.
Someday I’ll use another palette, but I can’t stop using the Too Faced Pumpkin Spice palette this Fall. It’s so versatile and gorgeous, and the shades are so pigmented and beautiful. I went with a yellowy orange eye look for this outfit, to pair perfectly with the jack-o-lantern on my dress.
Accessories are always some of my favorite outfit additions. I love these earrings that work so well for Halloween. The cute little jack-o-lanterns have happy faces, unlike the dress (which gives off a more creepy vibe). Very festive.
I was supposed to be in Sleepy Hollow this year for Halloween week, but obviously those plans were cancelled. I felt like it was in my best interest to cancel the trip and stay home. I’m pretty sad about it, but that won’t dim my excitement for Halloween. Even with no set plans for now, I’ll still be celebrating. Remus and I have matching Halloween pajamas (check out this Instagram post to see those), Disney + will allow me to watch Halloweentown and Hocus Pocus, Sleepy Hollow is on Netflix, and there are so many fun Halloween recipes I can make to enjoy.
What about you? Any Halloween plans this year? Or any suggestions to make my Halloween more fun during this pandemic? Let me know in the comments!
