Periwinkle Eyeshadow Tutorial

Sometimes I want a really intense makeup look. But sometimes, I want something simple. I love a good eye look that takes under 5 minutes and is really easy, but pretty. Simple looks can still look really nice. I also love eyeshadow that comes in single shadow form. So, I thought I’d share this periwinkle eye look that I’ve been loving.

I LOVE that cool tones are coming into style. I’ve always been a fan of cool tones, but I think most people prefer warm tones. Cool tones are always my favorite. Maybe it’s because I’m so pale. This periwinkle eye look is a cool toned look that makes my heart happy.

I used two single shadows for this look: Give Me Glow Cosmetics shadows in Peri and Wink (yes. They go together perfectly). These shadows are gorgeous, the pans are huge, and they’re affordable. Peri and Wink are my first shadow purchases from Give Me Glow, and I’m very impressed. The shadow quality is very good, and they’re very easy to use.

So, for the tutorial. Basically, it’s two steps: Blend the shade Wink into the crease. I take it about halfway between my crease and my brow, but you can take it as far as you’re comfortable. Next, pack Peri all over the lid. That’s it! Easy, right?

Sometimes I foil my shimmery shadows (this means getting them wet, usually with a setting spray, to make them more intense). I don’t have to do that with these shimmer shades. The quality is seriously amazing with these shadows.

If you’re curious about single shadows, check out this post. I need to update it soon, but the information is still the same. I tried Give Me Glow Cosmetics after publishing that post, but it talks all about single eyeshadow pans that I love.
