It’s apple season at Eckert’s Orchard, and I headed out over the weekend for some picking. They rotate through a variety of apples throughout the season, and you can pick whatever amount you want. I usually go to the zoo a couple of times a year with a friend. For Christmas, we got each other zoo memberships. I got us Cincinnati Zoo passes, and he got us Louisville Zoo passes. It was completely unplanned, but it was a nice surprise. We decided to go over the 4th of July weekend, and it was HOT. I wanted to be comfortable, so I wore a cute but very light outfit.
