New Year’s Eve is less than a week away. If you’re still looking for the perfect outfit, a little black dress is always a great option. Spruce it up with a fancy clutch or sparkly statement jewelry, and it’s perfect. I’ve found three black dresses that are perfect for New Year’s Eve parties, and there’s still time to scoop them up before the big night!

Option 1 is probably my favorite, and is probably the dress I’ll end up wearing on NYE. I love the neck detail. I think it would be really pretty with pearls or a statement necklace, but it would also just be beautiful on its own.

It’s probably (definitely) going to be a chilly evening, so I layered a cardigan over it. I love this black cardigan (it would also be gorgeous with the red version of the cardigan) because it’s got some sparkle in it, which is NYE perfection.

I also added a fun black belt to the outfit for some added detail. This belt is so cute – I love the bow! It makes it a little more feminine and chic.

Option 2 is a strong contender for my NYE choice. It’s so comfortable, and it’s very flattering. The belt is included, which is nice. I love the long sleeves. Again, NYE is supposed to be very chilly, so long sleeves are a great option.

What I really love about this dress, is the neckline. I LOVE scallops. They really add a fun detail to an otherwise plain dress. I posted about my love for scallops in my pool day essentials post. This dress has scallops around the neck, so, like the first option, it’s very feminine and pretty.

Option 3 is my least favorite, but it’s still a great option (especially if you’re in a pinch and are an Amazon Prime member). Honestly, this one is a little tight in the top (if you have a smaller chest than I do this may not be an issue) and the sleeves are a little short on me. But I love long sleeved maxis. I just think they’re so classy.

My favorite thing about this dress? It has pockets! That’s how you really sell me on any dress.
