Ok y’all, it’s Nordstrom Sale time. Tomorrow, it will be open to the public, no matter the consumer’s status. This sale is controversial, and I really dislike the way they did the sale this year. It doesn’t benefit bloggers who can shop early OR consumers. I got almost everything I’d planned on (mostly because I didn’t want the “big” items – I got a pair of booties, a pair of hiking boots, a candle, and another pair of my favorite leggings), but a few items were sold out. So, I thought I’d share some alternatives to this sale that are affordable, and actually available.

First, some hats. I know Nordstrom had hats in the sale this year. And yes, they were cute. BUT, paying $40+ for a hat just isn’t in my budget. Luckily, Walmart has some felt hats that are adorable (and perfect for Fall) – and they’re under $15. Much better, right? This option comes in a few styles and colors. The gray was my first choice, and I also want to find the tan version.
The Zella leggings at Nordstrom are definitely amazing. They’re one of the items I picked up this year. However, these leggings from Kohl’s are also really amazing (and they’re available in plus size here). I wear them all the time, and they’re so comfy.
(See the Zella leggings shown in this post. See the Kohl’s leggings in this post.)
Speaking of leggings, the Spanx leggings are always a popular item. I picked up this pair last year, and I love them. They’re so much cheaper, and still fit really well (again, also available in plus size here). They’re clearance right now, so they may not be around much longer. Snag a pair soon if you’re interested (they’re $15, where the Nordstrom Spanx version is $65 – also available in plus size, which is nice).
(See the alternative pair in this post.)
This pair of leopard pants is a really cute option, but they’re almost $60. It’s jean material with a leopard pattern. The alternative I have for these aren’t a jean material. They’re more like dress pant material that look like leggings, and they’re so comfortable. I wear these all the time. They’re great work pants, but comfy enough for casual days too. Plus, they’re under $15.
(See the alternative pair in this post.)
I love a good open front, long cardigan. Nordstrom has this one available for $50, and this one for $40, but not all color options and sizes are available. This one from Amazon is one I absolutely love and wear all the time. It’s sturdy and comfortable, and only $30.
(See the affordable cardigan in this post and this post.)
Adidas released this pair of shoes a while ago, and they sold out during the N Sale. However, I’ve also had this dupe for a while. I love Walmart sneakers, and the prices are great (these are under $20).
Nordstrom has these snakeskin booties ($90), this pair ($100), as well as these ($100). Y’all, I found snakeskin booties at Walmart that are only $15, and this pair is only $20.. Nordstrom also has Marc Fisher snakeskin loafers. Well well well, Walmart strikes again. I snagged these flats and they’re so comfortable, and also only $15.
Now, for some items I don’t own dupes of, but have found through some research: Marc Fisher booties at Nordstrom are $100. This pair is almost an exact dupe, again at Walmart, and is only $25. Walmart does only have the brown pair, but they’re 1/4 of the price, which is crazy to me.
Moto jackets are really cute. I picked one up last year at Old Navy, and love it. This one is available this year at Nordstrom, for $77. Also this option, that’s $120. Walmart has some affordable options that are similar, but not exact. This version is under $50, but this one is under $20 and looks really nice.
This blazer was an item I had my eye on. It sold out before I could shop, but there are alternatives out there, so no worries. I love this one from Amazon (they don’t have a bright red, but they do have a few color options – I’m eyeing the green one), and this one is almost identical.
I’ve wanted a Free People bralette for a while. This one is the regular and most popular one, and it’s $40. This one is on sale during the NSale, and is $24. I found almost an exact dupe for the original. This one is on sale for under $11. It’s also available here in plus size for $12. PS- the Free People version goes up to a Large and that’s it, so if you want it in plus size, this one is the way to go anyway! Did I snag one? Yes. Here’s the dupe for the sale version, under $8 (so still way cheaper than the NSale version). Again, also available in plus size. For some reason, the plus size version is under $15, which is twice the price of the “normal” size bralette, but it’s still almost $10 cheaper than the Free People bralette, which also doesn’t come in plus size.
I have this pair of Kate Spade earrings (not from Nordstrom, they were a gift a few years ago) and love them. They sold out during the N Sale. This set is only $5, and a very close dupe! I’m not sure about the quality, but that price is a great deal.
This necklace is also Kate Spade. I picked it up this year during the sale, and I really like it. However, it’s sold out, BUT this necklace is $13 and a pretty close match.
That’s it for now. If I find more, I’ll add them to this post. If you have any other dupes to add, let me know in the comments or send me a DM on Instagram!
