Dresses are one of my staple pieces no matter the season. I love casual dresses that can be worn very casually on their own, or dressed up with a pretty belt, some tights, and booties. Old Navy dresses are some of my favorites, and I’ve gone back and picked up more of the same dress in different patterns (I have this one in green and black, as well as the grey and black one shown below). They fit so well, they’re very comfortable, and they’re affordable, especially if you can get them on sale…
Ok y’all. I am in love with everything about this outfit. Fall style is my absolute favorite, and that wine, maroon, merlot color is my power color. It’s my favorite, and with my hair and skin color, it’s perfect. It’s gorgeous for Fall and I think everyone needs something in this color. Also, I love black shirts. Love them. I cannot get enough. The accessories are gorgeous. I’m excited about this whole outfit, and every item I’m wearing is linked! First, let’s talk about this shirt…
When I started blogging a year ago, I never expected to be at the place I am. I never would have guessed that I would have found a group that is so amazing. The Lex Blogger Fam has become such a huge part of my life, and I am so thankful for this blogging community. One of the things I love about the Lex Blogger Fam is that they’re all so kind hearted and happy to give back to the community. I’m very excited to announce that the Lex Blogger Fam has teamed up to produce…
A couple of weeks ago, Remus and I went to Evans Orchard. I go every year, and I was very excited to take him this year! We took a little walk through the apple trees. We matched in our fox shirts. I picked the cutest little pumpkin in the patch. We snuggled up in some plaid flannel. I think he enjoyed himself! It ended up being a little warmer than expected, but he loved running around and sniffing all the new smells! I definitely can’t wait to make this a yearly tradition. I’ve wanted a lot of things in life, but being a dog mom is probably at the very top of the list. Remus came into my life in January, and I love that little pup, no matter how naughty he is. This is probably the most exciting thing for me – having a puppy on Halloween. I’m sharing some photos from Remus’ first Halloween. Yes I went a little overboard, and yes he is a very spoiled pup. But it’s his first Halloween, and he deserves all the happiness…
I’ve collaborated with my friend Kyla to show off some super cute doggy bandanas and bowties. I asked her to make these for me for Remus, because of course he needs to be extra cute all the time, and I love having him festive for holidays (these particular ones are Halloween themed). She’s created a post showing how she made these, so be sure to check her site out here! First is a ghost bowtie. I love that it just slides onto his collar. Remus looks so handsome and dapper. Since the…

Two years ago, I was a fox for Halloween. I found some fox ears and a tail at Target, and I was really excited. The costume ended up being one of my favorites (I LOVE foxes), and I won best costume at the party I attended. I’ll talk details at the end of this post about the actual costume itself, but today I wanted to…
Halloween is quickly approaching (seriously, where did September and the first half of October go?!?), and it’s time to start panicking about last-minute costumes. Do you have a pooch you forgot you wanted to dress? I won’t share what Remus is officially going to be yet, but I coerced him with lots of treats and toys to help me show you 3 easy costumes for pups this year. The first is a pumpkin. I found this costume at Target (https://www.target.com/) at the Dollar Spot. I was there last week and this was…
I’ve loved the headless horseman as long as I could remember. “Sleepy Hollow” was the first “scary” movie I could watch without being terrified. When I went to New York with my parents in 2012, I begged them to drive through Sleepy Hollow, and it was amazing. The #1 item on my bucket list is to spend Halloween in Sleepy Hollow (I’m looking at you 2020). The point is, I love Sleepy Hollow and the Headless Horseman. So, when I found out LuLaRoe had Headless Horseman leggings, I knew I had to…

Halloween is almost here, even though it feels more like Summer than Fall here in Kentucky. But that means there’s still plenty of time to wear short sleeves, and I stumbled across the perfect Halloween shirt thanks to my friend Tif from Bright On A Budget. I’ve always been told that my resting face is, well, not very happy, and this Resting Witch…
