Periwinkle Eyeshadow Tutorial

Sometimes I want a really intense makeup look. But sometimes, I want something simple. I love a good eye look that takes under 5 minutes and is really easy, but pretty. Simple looks can still look really nice. I also love eyeshadow that comes in single shadow form. So, I thought I’d share this periwinkle eye look that I’ve been loving. I LOVE that cool tones are coming into style. I’ve always been a fan of cool tones, but I think most people prefer warm tones. Cool tones are always my favorite. Maybe it…

Warm Toned Eyeshadow Look + Coral Lip

I know the weather is very confused as to what season it is, but it’s still Spring. I love a coral lip for the Spring and summer months, so I thought I’d share an easy Spring makeup look with a coral lip. I used to absolutely hate warm toned eye looks, but they’ve really grown on me. The palette I used for this look is only $3, and I will definitely pull out some warm toned looks for $3. The palette name is Pumpkin Pie, and that is DEFINITELY something I love. For this…

St. Patrick’s Day is next week, so it’s time to find something green to wear. Now, I LOVE St. Patrick’s Day, so I’m pretty safe, but not everyone is so lucky (ha). If you’re looking for the perfect sweater with some green, I’ve got you covered. This sweater is so…

Shared Planet Polar Bear Palette (Review, Swatches, + 3 Looks)

Happy International Polar Bear Day! Polar bears are my favorite animals, so when I found a polar bear themed eyeshadow palette… well, I snatched that up. I’ve wanted to post about this palette for a while, and I figured today was the perfect day. I LOVE this palette. It quickly became a favorite. I’ve always preferred cool tones, and this palette definitely contains cool tones. Pinks, greys, purples, my heart! The color scheme for this palette is right up my alley. I love that the shade names actually fit this palette really well. There are…

Colourpop Pink + Purple Eye Look

I received the Colourpop It’s a Princess Thing palette for Christmas last year. It quickly became a favorite of mine. I enjoy warm tones throughout the Fall and on occasion, but I definitely prefer cool tones. I’m sharing a look I wore to brunch. I think it’s so pretty, and would be great for Valentine’s Day. First, I applied my Milani eye primer. This is such a great primer, and it’s so affordable. I set my primer with the shade Chip from the Princess Palette. Next I put the shade…

Project Pan 2019 6 Month Update

I can’t believe it’s already July! That means it’s already time for a 2019 Project Pan update! And y’all, it’s a good one. Last year at this time, I was stressing. I had barely completed any of my panning goals. But this year, I have a TON of progress, and that makes me so happy! If you want to see my intro post, check it out here! Let’s start with the items I’ve panned or finished. I finished two primers completely: the NYX Hydra Touch primer…

What’s In My Work Makeup Bag

I don’t always do my makeup at home. Sometimes my mornings are rushed, and I do part (or all) of my makeup on my breaks at work. I keep a makeup bag at my desk. If I need to just do a quick eye look, or a full makeup look, I’m prepared. You never know when someone will unexpectedly ask you to do something after work unexpectedly (I’ve literally bought concert tickets the DAY OF, and had to try to get ready). I’ve partnered with Begin Magic to show what’s…

All About Single Shadows

Single shadows are some of my favorite eyeshadows. I love having the ability to customize a palette, and build a collection customized to my own style. It’s a great way to try out a brand without spending a ton of money, or add just one color to your collection that you’ve been wanting to try. I’ll list some of my favorite companies that carry single shadows at the bottom of this post, as well as some companies I want to try. I’ve tried a few single shadows from some companies, and bundles…

2018 Bonus Project Pan

I know a lot of people have been keeping up with my 2018 project pan (that’s now complete). I talked about my conclusions in my project finale. I’m very excited to share that I hit pan on a few bonus products that weren’t in my project! First, I finished two setting sprays. I love both the Urban Decay All Nighter and Skindinavia setting sprays. I used a travel size of the UD spray, and a full size of the Skindinavia. They’re definitely two of my favorites. I finished a concealer and primer…

2018 Project Pan Finale

Ok y’all, I’ve been slacking in 2019, but I’m ready to get it together! I finished up my 2018 project pan. If you’ve never heard of project pan, you can check out my original post. I also posted a 6 month update. This will be my finale post, so I’ll just be talking about the products I’ve finished since the 6 month update. First, I hit MAJOR pan on my Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer. The sides still had quite a bit of product, but the middle…
